Hello Blog World
My name is Sarah. I live in Small Town, Ohio. I'm married to Geoff. He's a graduate student at Small Town University - Master of Fine Arts, to be specific. We have one child, Gabrielle, and she is almost 20 months old. We have three dogs, 2 basset hounds and a mutt, and two cats, one of which weighs 30 pounds.
My passion is work. I love being a mom, wife, daughter, sister, amateur photographer, and coworker. I love all of my jobs but the one I love the most is being a mom. Gabrielle was born on October 10, 2007. She is funny, cute, loveable, feisty, and smart. She's the daughter my mom wished for me to have one day - I hope someday you have one just like you! - she'll never admit that I am the daughter her mom wished she would have. So, Gabrielle gets her spunk, attitude, and feistyness honestly, from her dad (ha!).
I have one brother. We are 13 months apart - can you imagine finding out you are pregnant when your first baby is 3 months old?!?! I guess you can call me an oops baby.
Geoff and I met when were 18 years old and have been together ever since. We met in the winter of 1998. We actually, met on New Years Eve 1998 going into 1999, that's confusing! We are from the same hometown, Medium Town, Indiana. Our parents, my mom and his dad, actually grew up together. Both lived in the same neighborhood growing up, his dad was my uncle's best friend - small world. Geoff and I attended the same university and both graduated in 2005 and 2003, respectively. We got married in July of 2004. He proposed to me in Disney World during the summer of 2003. So, I graduated college one day and got engaged the next! We moved to Small Town, Ohio in the summer of 2005 and have been here ever since. If everything goes according to plan, Geoff will graduate May 2010.
So, there we are. Hang on and enjoy the ride - our life can get crazy. I can promise this: there will be funny stories, cute pictures, and TONS of entertainment!
